Running is a series of single leg stance. It is important to maintain the dynamic support of your feet. Your feet need to adapt to the ground, keeping you stable while you walk and run. Optimizing joint and arch mobility with active intrinsic foot muscles gives you a rigid lever for push off. This workshop is designed to make you the best runner possible while minimizing the affects of plantar fasciitis, Achilles pain, tight shins, calves and hamstrings. The first part of this workshop will focus on improving foot mobility. The second half will emphasize foot strength and balance. A trigger point release ball will be required for this workshop and will be available for purchase.

Rolling For Runners

Foam rolling is a self-myofascial release technique. It can help relieve muscle tightness, soreness, and inflammation, and increase your joint range of motion. Foam rolling can be an effective tool to add to your warm-up or cool down, before and after running. This workshop will consist of two parts: the first 45 minutes will be dedicated to release work. Rolling out tight fascial tissue, stretching and releasing muscles. The second half of the workshop will be spent learning core exercises on the roller. Both aspects will help you prevent injury and run better. A foam roller will be required for this workshop and will be available for purchase.
